Packs of 4 Cards in a "Christmas Baubles" design by yours truly are now available to buy in the shop. They have been professionally printed, come with white envelopes and just for that extra bit of Christmas sparkle each one has a sparkly Swarovski crystal embellishment on the front.

I was lucky enough to visit Siena in Italy a few weeks ago for a friend's wedding. I have been really quite bad and really should have put some photographs on the blog but as yet I haven't got that far, hopefully soon though! Anyway, a few weeks before the wedding Kirsteen, the bride asked me if I would make the Flower girls or "Mini Maids" a little bear gift to say thanks for all their important work on the big day (and by the way Molly and Baillie you both did a wonderful job!). I was honoured to be asked and had a great time making the bears, they each had a sewn brooch with the mini maids initial and a little purse to match the fabric used in each bears ears. I think they liked them :)
Oh and I did hear that the bears were named Molly and Bella by their new owners!

So yesterday was Halloween and I completely forgot to post anything at all to celebrate the spookiest day in the calender so I thought I would just put up this picture as it is just too cool not too - It is not my pumpkin but it does belong to one of Ruby Loves Red's designers Kil Sook
Hope you all had a great Halloween, next year I might just be brave enough to attempt my very own pumpkin (although I am a wee bit sad that no one in Scotland seems to be making the more traditional neep lanterns anymore).

New to the shop today are these lovely Screen printed and Gooco printed cards by Jen Collins aka Hello Jenuine, a fellow Dundee based designer and one third of the talented bunch who organise Dundee Jamboree events. If you want to get your hands on one of these you can do so right here.

Eeek, yet another new stockist with fab new products coming to RLR. Today the lovely Hilary Grant delivered a box jam packed with amazing things all ready to be added to the shop. Hilary is a textile designer and illustrator based in Scotland and makes these wonderful Rocky Mountain Cushions and some super cool Make Your Own Mittens kits too. I bought some cushions from Hilary at the last Dundee Jamboree and they have taken pride of place on my sofa ever since. They are knitted using 100% lambswool and felted in Hilary's studio before being stitched and stuffed into these fantastic Rocky Mountains, you will definitely want more than one though - just to create a more authentic mountain scene y'know!
