Wedding Fever

Well that's it for the wedding favour commission. Fifty favours for my old school chum Karen's wedding in October, it took me a while but I got there in the end I just hope that her and Barrie like them. You are probably sick of seeing photographs of these but I think the end result is quite good and these pics will probably be the last!

At the beginning I found the whole exercise a little tedious, cutting out 50 patterned hearts, 50 purple hearts, 50 lengths of ribbon, 50 labels - you get the idea right? I must say though when it came to sewing the favours together, turning right side out, stuffing them and sewing them up to finish off I actually found it all quite enjoyable! I endured the queue at the main Dundee post office this morning before my late shift in the shop began and got them in the post so I will hopefully find out tomorrow if they like them, fingers crossed.
