Ship Shape

At the St Andrew's craft fair on Saturday I was asked if I could make a boat out of fabric to hang off the back of a wardrobe door for a lovely lady called Gail. She was so enthusiastic about everyone's pieces and had commissioned a couple of other items from other designers for gifts. I set to work yesterday and this was the result, what do you think?

I really like the finished result and might even make a few more to hang around my own home in varying colourways. I know it is becoming a bit of a habit to apologize about the dullness of some of my photographs but I had to take them very quickly this morning before work (so i could get the boat in the post to Gail), and the light in the kitchen was very poor then the camera battery died - typical. Hopefully Gail will like the finished result too.
