Purses

Last week I thought I would try out something new for a change, not that I don't love sewing up new little bears and making up new creatures every now and then but I have just wanted to try out something a bit more, should I say useful for a while now and I thought I should begin with some purses. So armed with some new additions to my fabric stash and my mums old tin of vintage buttons I set to work on some trial purse ideas. The results, well take a look and see what you think...

I'm quite happy with how they turned out and love some of the fabric choices I made AND now I can successfully sew a buttonhole, I always considered this to be a bit daunting but once I got over issues with my machine sticking mid-buttonhole I was away! I have gone ahead and added these babies to the shop so if you like then you can snap em up right here.
