It's beginning to look a lot like...

It's beginning to look a lot like Christmas..... well a tiny bit like it anyway. Danny is away for the weekend and left me with strict instructions not to put up the tree without him (I've been known to do this quite a lot). Well I really wanted to do it but resisted temptation and just put one string of lights on the railing outside the living room window and turned them on as soon as it got dark outside! I am just a big kid. This is a pic from inside the living room, the gingerbread man is not my own creation but was given to me by a friend Katie a few years ago, he has actually been in the living room all year and not packed away with all the other decs - oops!

So phase one Christmas decorations are complete and I get the feeling it is going to be next weekend until phase two gets underway, i will keep you posted.
