Happy Bunny Inspiration

After making the giveaway prize Wing-a-me-jig I realised that my pattern needed a lot of refining to get it right. So this afternoon I did just that and tried to make a new version with chubbier arms and slightly smaller hips and I decided along the way to make this Wing-a-me-jig with bunny ears - as you can see by my last post the bunny has arrived and has inspired me to try creating something in a slightly new shape. The winter nights are drawing in and it's a bit dark to take photos of the rabbit I made earlier on today to show you but they will follow on and you can let me know what you think. I'm not entirely happy with the result and I guess I'm just having a bit of an off day which I find really frustrating but the only way I will get it correct and to my satisfaction is with practice - right?

So I am now once again parked on the sofa but trying to come up with some new ideas, shapes, faces etc to sew up on a day when sewing seems to work for me. Oh and the postie delivered some really nice soft furry fabric today which will give the Wing-a-me-jigs a whole new dimension I hope and make them not only huggable but strokeable too, yay!
