Garden - Work in Progress

Just wanted to share a few photographs with you that I have been meaning to do for a while now but keep getting side tracked. It is a work in progress and still needs a lot of T.L.C. but we WILL get there with it.

We have quite an awkward bit of raised garden along the side of our house, weeds seem to grow here at a rate I have never seen before, it is a bit like a jungle. Danny and I have been meaning to clear it for a while now and have done so successfully every year only for the weeds to grow back in again, gggrrrrrrr.

This year however we have made a start and hey presto we have a small patio area, I think it is looking pretty good, just need to get a small table and couple of chairs so we can sit out and have a morning cuppa in the sun - although that will probably have to wait for summer to come back around next year again!

Oh and I planted these two palm style grasses in front of the patio with the aim of them providing a bit of privacy from the main road when they grow only to be advised by a friend that they are some of the slowest growing plants out there, ah well you win some you loose some!
